Uplift Albania entered the second month of workshops and mentoring with a networking event with investors on October 30 where startups where startups showed an unprecedented energy despite the virtual distance between them due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Business Breakfast with Investors brought together physically but also virtually startups, angel investors, mentors, and Venture Capital representatives.

This meeting was followed by a workshop led by Barbara Fischer on fundraising. During the event, the startups received questions but also feedback from local investors and from abroad such as UK, Poland, Turkey, and the region.

With an international expertise in business development, on November 5 Fil Guijarro led the next workshop helping Uplift Albania startups understand sales process.

One of the most prominent influencers and experts in digital marketing, marketing techniques, blogging and social media, Reita Hackaj explained for startups how they can get the best out of marketing strategy.

At the beginning of the third month of the acceleration program, some of the startups are gathering feedback, some are improving the applied methods and others are remodeling their business and finally what they are getting ready for the finalization of the product.

Moreover, Uplift Albania startups are expanding their network of partners, negotiating with investors, and getting prepared for the next logical step, scaling their businesses.

Thanks to the valuable partner of Uplift Albania SWISS EP, the next workshop “Pitching & Pitch Deck” was enabled with the field expert Peter Brunner, which took place virtually through the Zoom platform.

Uplift Albania entered the third month of acceleration program and startups being prepared the Big January and Demo-Day when they will face and audience of investors and show everything, they learned during 4 months of training, mentoring, workshops, and meetings.

12 startups have been selected to follow the second edition of the accelerator. Varg.io, FoodFilled, Neuroyouth, Wellnes +, Hermex, Maia, iNegotio, AlbBnb, Swipin, Crossplag, Track and Nutriprep.
